Tips for repairing scratches on aluminum alloy shell

Time:2020-12-28 Views:269

Small coup to repair scratches on aluminum shell;

1. Enterprises must improve the quality of mold repair, and aluminum shell molds must be nitrided regularly and strictly implement the nitriding process.

2. Place the profiles in the material frame reasonably to avoid mutual friction. The aluminum shell should be handled with care during the production process to avoid scratches caused by human factors. And clean up the working areas such as the discharge track and the swing bed in time to prevent debris from affecting the production and processing quality of the aluminum shell.

3. Use felt or insulating fabric to separate the aluminum shell to reduce friction between them and cause damage.

4. The aluminum shell is coated with a protective "coating" after anodizing. Since the chemical properties of the anodic oxide film are very stable in the natural environment, it can provide corrosion protection for the aluminum shell. A reasonable grasp of the higher hardness of the anodic oxide film will make the aluminum shell have low roughness and smooth surface, which greatly improves the wear resistance of the aluminum shell. If various organic and inorganic dyes are added during the anodizing process, the anodized film will have color and give the aluminum shell a beautiful appearance.

5. After the aluminum shell is oxidized, the scratches can still be seen. This is because the oxide film is relatively thin and almost transparent, and any defects on the surface will be exposed. There is basically no good treatment method to remedy the oxidized ones. The only thing is to remove the oxide film, re-treat the scratched parts (grinding, polishing, etc.) to make them scratch-free, and then re-oxidize .
